Drupal Mail Client is currently hosted by SourceForge.net and the project page can be found at http://sourceforge.net/u/earnie/dmail/home.

The purpose of this project is to provide an interface using the Drupal CMS to multiple mail accounts. The PHP imap routines are being used to accomplish the communication to the mail server and can be IMAP (preferred), POP3 or NNTP.

Milestone 1.0 - Using Drupal 6 provide a functional mail client with allowing multiple email identities to be defined.

Milestone 1.1 - Convert the functionality to Drupal 7.

Milestone 2.0 - Enhance the module to allow for:

The promotion of an email message to a node.
The promotion of an email thread as a node with comments.
